I am a native of Charleston, SC and I am married to my sweetheart with whom I have the cutest kid in the world. I just can't stop kissing either of them.
When I became a mom the thought of returning to work and leaving my infant drove me nuts, so I started working on an idea to do something I love to do anyway BUT from home. I wanted to create jewelry that had heART & soul. Something special that could do good for others as well as help contribute to my household bills, and all the while supporting healthy global practices like recycling and fair trade practices.
Creating SCRAPS jewelry has been a beautiful journey so far. My eyes have been opened to issues I may have once over looked and I have met some of the most amazing people. For me, SCRAPS jewelry is a win-win situation because it allows me do something that I have a passion for while making it possible for me to be able to do more to help others.
