BeGen is a line of handcrafted earrings created using Paper Beads and Recycled Glass.
"Gen" is the Acholi word for HOPE. I named this line BeGen because, quite literally, I wanted to inspire folks to Be HOPE.
A minimun of a 10% donation is made to an organization that is actively working to rehabilitatie Ex-Child Soldiers & War Affected Youth in Northern Uganda, as well as youth that are at risk in the US, using ART & MUSIC in their camps to develop a positive means to process trauma .
The BeGen line is currently available at both South Carolina locations of Whole Foods.
